What Happens During the Preview Session

- 2.I assess your skin - type, tone, texture, and any specific concerns like redness, pigmentation, or sensitivity
- 3.Skin prep is applied - the right primers and base products for your skin type
- 4.Foundation is matched and applied, with coverage adjusted to your preference
- 5.Eye makeup is designed and applied - this is where we explore different options until we land on the right look
- 6.Lashes are chosen and applied, adjusting the style to suit your eye shape
- 7.Lips are finished in your chosen shade
- 8.You see the full look - we photograph it from multiple angles so you can review it properly
- 9.Any adjustments are made - more or less coverage, a different lip colour, softer or more defined eyes
- 10.The final look is confirmed and noted so the wedding day application is identical
When to Book Your Preview
The ideal window for a bridal preview is 4-8 weeks before your wedding. This is close enough to the date that your skin is in a similar condition to how it will be on the day (post-facials, post-skincare routine), but far enough out that any minor adjustments can be made without stress.
Avoid booking your preview too early - if your skin changes significantly between the preview and the day (new skincare, post-summer tan, hormonal changes), some of what was decided at the preview may need revisiting. 4-6 weeks is the sweet spot.
What to Bring to Your Bridal Preview
- Inspiration images - even if you’re not sure exactly what you want, images help more than descriptions
- Any makeup you wear regularly - if there’s a product you love or a shade that’s your signature, bring it
