FAQ
Common Questions
Everything you need to know before enquiring - from pricing and bridal previews to products and travel. If your question isn't here, just get in touch.
Booking & Availability
Head to the Contact page and fill in the enquiry form with your event details - date, service type, location, and party size. I'll get back to you within 24 to 48 hours to discuss availability, your vision, and next steps. It's a conversation first, not a commitment. You're also welcome to reach out via Instagram or Facebook if that feels easier.
For Sunshine Coast weddings, I recommend enquiring 12 months ahead for any Saturday during peak season (September to April). Peak season Saturdays fill fast - often 12 to 18 months in advance for popular dates. Off-peak dates and weekdays have more flexibility, but 6 months ahead is a safe starting point. If your date is sooner, reach out anyway - availability changes and it's always worth checking.
Absolutely. Not every wedding happens on a peak-season Saturday, and I work across the full calendar year. Off-peak and mid-week bookings often have more flexibility around timing and availability. Get in touch with your date and I'll let you know what's possible.
I cover the Sunshine Coast and Hinterland, and can travel beyond the region on request. Travel fees apply and vary depending on your location - exact fees are confirmed when you enquire.
Your date is confirmed when a booking agreement is signed and a deposit is paid. A verbal yes or an email exchange does not hold a date - I've had brides lose their preferred artist because they delayed on this step. Once you're happy to proceed, I'll send the agreement and we'll get everything confirmed quickly.
Bridal Makeup
A bridal preview - sometimes called a bridal trial - is a dedicated one-on-one session held 4-8 weeks before your wedding where we design and test your complete look together. It is available at an additional cost and takes place at my home studio on the Sunshine Coast. We test products on your skin, refine the look, and make sure everything is exactly right - so there are no surprises on the morning.
The ideal window is 4 to 6 months before the wedding. Far enough out to adjust anything if needed, and close enough that your skin is in a similar condition to the day. I'd avoid booking it within 8 weeks of the wedding - there's less room to refine if you want changes after seeing the look.
Come with clean, moisturised skin - no makeup applied. Bring reference images of looks you love as a starting point for the conversation. If you have your veil already, bring it so we can see the full picture. Let me know in advance about any skin sensitivities, allergies, or concerns so I can prepare the right products.
Every bridal booking includes: wedding day makeup application at your getting-ready location, premium long-wearing products selected for Queensland's heat and humidity, lashes, and a touch-up kit with key products to keep for the day. A bridal preview session is available at an additional cost at my home studio on the Sunshine Coast. Travel fees apply and vary depending on location.
Yes - that's exactly what the preview is for. If you want something softer, warmer, more defined, or different in any direction, we adjust before the wedding morning, not on it. I keep notes from every session and factor changes into the wedding day plan. Minor tweaks on the morning itself are also completely normal.
Before the wedding, I build a precise schedule based on your party size, ceremony time, and venue logistics, and share it in advance so everyone knows when they're in the chair. On the morning, I run to that schedule, communicate calmly if anything shifts, and always ensure the bride is last in the chair - finished with time to spare before walking out the door.
Pricing & Payments
Bridal makeup includes wedding day application, premium long-wearing products, lashes, and a touch-up kit. The bridal preview session is available at an additional cost at my home studio on the Sunshine Coast. Send an enquiry with your details and I'll provide a personalised quote.

Yes. A deposit is required to confirm your booking and hold your date. Without a deposit, the date is not held. The deposit amount and payment terms are outlined in the booking agreement and discussed transparently before you commit to anything.
Cancellation and rescheduling terms are included in the booking agreement and discussed when you confirm. As a general rule, I ask for as much notice as possible if plans change. The specifics are always transparent upfront - there are no hidden conditions or surprise charges.
On the Day
The bride's application typically takes 60 to 90 minutes, depending on the complexity of the look and skin preparation. Bridal party members are generally 45 to 60 minutes each. I build the exact timing into your getting-ready schedule in advance so every person knows when they're in the chair and the morning runs smoothly.
Applied with the right primer, setting powder, and setting spray - and with products chosen specifically for Queensland's heat and humidity - your makeup should last 10 to 12 hours comfortably, from getting ready through to the end of the reception. The touch-up kit I leave covers the key products to refresh through the day if needed.
Yes - every bridal booking includes a touch-up kit with the key products from your look: your lip colour, a pressed powder matched to your skin, and anything specific to how the look was built. It's designed so you or a bridesmaid can maintain the makeup through the day without needing professional help.
I maintain a trusted network of professional makeup artists on the Sunshine Coast. In the extremely unlikely event I was unable to attend, I would arrange for someone I know personally and vouch for professionally to step in - not an unknown referral from a directory. This has never happened in my career, but the contingency plan is real and I'm happy to discuss it at any point.
I specialise in makeup only - it's where my complete focus and expertise sits. For hair, I work alongside a number of excellent stylists across the Sunshine Coast and I'm happy to recommend someone who would be a great fit for your day. Just ask when you enquire.
Products & Skin
I use a curated kit of premium, professional-grade products chosen for longevity and performance in Queensland's heat and humidity. I do not stick to one brand exclusively, everything is selected based on your skin type, tone, and the look we are creating. My kit covers a full range of shades and undertones for accurate colour-matching across all skin tones. I also carry non-comedogenic and fragrance-free options for sensitive skin, and will ask about allergies and sensitivities at your enquiry and again at the preview so I can prepare and test the right products.
Come with clean, well-moisturised skin and no makeup applied. Your normal skincare routine is fine, there is no need to change anything. Avoid trying new products in the week before, as reactions can take days to calm. In the months leading up to your wedding, a consistent daily SPF and moisturiser routine makes a genuine difference to skin condition and how the makeup applies.
